Craig Miller
(a.k.a. "Doctor Zhicago")

Songwriter
Fronting the band,
co-founder Craig Miller drives the Express with 30+ years of stage & studio experience from his home town,
the Blues Mecca of Chicago.
With a career spanning the Blues, Western Swing and Americana roots music, he’s played in three bands with Steel Guitarist Bob Egan of “Blue Rodeo,” and Chicago’s phenomenal “Ralph Convert & the Bad Examples”.
Raised in Chicago, Craig's guested with legends like Otis Rush, Son Seals, and guitar hero Lurrie Bell, playing famed venues like the Kingston Mines, Buddy Guy’s Legends, Chicago’s House of Blues & Park West.
In Montreal since 2000, he's shared the stage with Offenbach, Jimmy James, Dawn Tyler Watson, John McGale, Rob Lutes, Jim Zeller, Kevin Mark, Carl Tremblay, Guy Belanger, & more.
Craig and his harp have found their way onto live radio broadcasts, nationwide TV, and onstage at Montreal’s Club Soda, Café Campus, Mont Tremblant,
Chicago Blues & Jazz Festivals,
and far beyond… |

James Loon

Founding member,
James Loon has played the Montreal scene since 1979. His former band "Picture This"
hit the radio with "Lap of Luxury". Later with "Memphis Soul Stew" he recorded a
couple of television episodes for Montreal's "Valley Music Series".
James has
logged miles with "Rick Weston & the Rhythm Kings" and others, headlining such
venues as the "Rising Sun", Ottawa's "Rainbow", "Le Grand Café" and more.
James contributes to the song arrangements, recording and production
of the band's material.

An International man of intrigue, Van Doren has toured extensively throughout
Asia, France, Morocco, Lebanon, the USA and Canada.
His barking sax has joined Dawn Tyler Watson, Eric Lapointe, Mitsou, Richard
Petit, Claude Dubois, Stefie Shock, the Funk-A-Fones and more.
Van has played the
Montreal International Jazz Festival, Just For Laughs Fest. A regular on the “Couleur
Jazz” Radio Station Trio, he joins BluesVille Express at larger Fests and venues.

Carl Rufh

Veteran Pro bassist Carl Rufh has toured with renowned guitarist Jimmy James since 83, playing major venues including Montreal’s Jazz Festival.
Opening for Stevie Ray Vaughn at Montreal’s “Spectrum” and playing on Radio, TV and Film soundtracks, Carl’s vintage Fender Bass has united him with many greats; Offenbach’s John McGale, Big Moose Walker, The Echo Hunters, Bob Harrison, Michael Jerome Browne, Carl Tremblay and more.

Myra Camirand
Drums, Arrangements
Recording artist Myra Camirand is a masterful dynamo of
Funk, Blues, Groove, and Swing that will get you on your feet in no time flat.
With a Degree in Music, she began her Pro career as drummer, percussionist and
background vocalist in a province-wide tour with singer Éric Maheu.
A show
series at the Montreal Casino with singer Claude Blanchard led to a
province-wide tour, followed by musical revues “Viva Casino” and “Femme du
Monde” at Hull’s Casino du Lac-Leamy.
